Joshua has a broad public law practice encompassing areas such as environmental law, administrative law, regulatory and safety, native-title, human-rights, quasi-criminal, and disciplinary matters. He has extensive experience in regulatory prosecutions of both corporate entities and individuals. He advises and appears in a range of administrative, appellate, environmental, resources and energy, quasi-criminal, regulatory, native-title, human-rights, commercial, and land-related matters.
Joshua was admitted as a solicitor in 2014, and prior to being called to the Bar in 2020 was a principal lawyer with the Queensland Department of Environment and Science where he had conduct of complex regulatory prosecutions and environmental matters within the Planning and Environment Court and Land Court, advised on compliance and enforcement matters for the Department, and provided advice on all matters associated environmental legislation.
